The sixth, seventh, and eighth graders have studied the life and work of Pablo Picasso. This week, they completed their renditions of Picasso’s Peace Dove.
Third, fourth, and fifth graders began printing this week, using foam stamps and tempera paint to create repeated patterns.
In the K-1-2 group, the students learned about the artwork of author/illustrator Eric Carle. They created very hungry caterpillars and symmetrical butterflies, and incorporated a grouchy ladybug into a block printing experience.
You are most welcome to view our art in the East Range II hallway!
