A note from the Library Club President

I’m Kasey Grass, president of the Library Club for the 2011-2012 school year. I would like to tell the future participants a little bit about this club. It is open to anyone in sixth to eighth grade. If you think you are interested, you can talk to Mrs. Murphy, the club founder.
The Library Club is a great way to learn useful skills that could help you someday. For starters, alphabetical and numeral organization can be used throughout your life for the smallest tasks. You can learn this easily in the library. It also gives members a chance to find new books that they may be interested in reading. It also gives the current president the chance to “preview” new books the school has bought. Most importantly, the Library Club is all about keeping the library clean, tidy, and comfortable.
These are only a few of the many things the Library Club has to offer. It is a great learning experience. If you are interested, join!
