Pumpkin Picking!

Our 2011 school garden produced more than 50 pumpkins this year! Thanks
to the sufficient rainfall and Jeff and Tammy Harriman’s careful tending, it
was our biggest harvest to date.

On Wednesday, Mr. Murphy’s class went out to choose their pumpkins.
Then they guided Mrs. Chandler’s class through the patch. They also
assisted Mrs. Noyes’ class as needed. With so many pumpkins to choose
from, everyone came away happy. We hope to see some fantastic jack-o’-
lanterns around our towns later this month!

We are grateful to Tammy and Jeff for their work in our garden this year,
from spring seedlings to pumpkin harvest.
